Disassembly
Royal Aero Services purchases surplus engines from the airlines, lessors and banks which are subsequently disassembled by licenced MRO facilities.
The disassembled parts are then routed through overhaul in the worldwide MRO network prior to being stored in Miesbach.
This supply chain method helps guarantee the quality, traceability and source of the parts and the material standards.
In the past 7 years Royal Aero Services has carried out 70 engine disassemblies, from smaller PT6A engines to larger CF6-80C2 engines.
